I have told a friend of mine here that I am not allowed to leave Olomouc until I’ve beaten him at table football. The downside of this is he’s a god at the game, and I can’t find a pool table anywhere to get even. However when we team up we’re pretty unbeatable, and prove it by playing for drinks in a local bar. Not losing a number of games is both a good and a bad thing, considering I don’t know my own name by the time I’m lurching in the general direction of home and using shop front windows to balance. The storm clouds were brewing. There were to be dark days ahead.
