I wake early, as you would expect, pretty anxious about the nights events. I’m reluctant to go out anywhere alone, but I wander round to Mitch’s hostel and set up shop. The story is out, people are concerned, and I’m gaining something of an unwanted (but still pretty cool) reputation.
Originally I had planned on leaving today, but after taking money out last night, I have none to pay my almighty three week hostel bill. At the very least, I’ll have to wait until tomorrow. Today I shall spend incognito. I consider shaving my hair off, but that makes me look a bit special. I have a rather large bonce. I resemble the queen alien with a skin head. It’s a no go.
Speaking of special, Mitch looks ridiculous with huge fake ray bans and a wide brim baseball cap. I think we’re both pretty stoked that we’re alive though. We can’t stop grinning.
We’re chaperoned around the place the whole day, by a gang of big lads. It’s better to be safe than sorry I suppose, and you don’t know if someone is making a call on the corner of the street. We’re always looking over our shoulder, which makes my decision to go out in the evening pretty stupid, but boy does it make me feel alive.
Holed up in the ranch

…and for once it was a pretty decent night.
